Atonement
After 25 years of Church inactivity, I am grateful that I have chosen the right path back to full fellowship. To "choose the right" for me has meant to allow my Savior's atonement to work on my behalf for my salvation in the most real sense. By making the choice to repent and serve my Heavenly Father, I am once again worthy to receive the eternal blessings He has been waiting to bestow upon me.

Repentance
My 6 year old son, is a collector of rings. Yesterday, someone tempted him to do something he knew was wrong, and to not tell me, his mother. He said, "This isn't something Mom would like" but was told that I didn't have to know. (It was only to eat a cookie before dinner.) He did it, but felt repentant, and came right to me and told me what he had done. He wanted to choose the right and be honest. It took great courage to tell me, especially because the person who tempted him was right there in the room when he confessed. I'm grateful to have a son who knows what is the right, and also knows what the Savior would have him do, when he makes a mistake.
